Canukxit 2016

The events of the recent election has been a different experience for everyone. For the government of Canada, it meant the crash of the immigration website. And for myself, a  Canadian living in America, I had friends and strangers alike asking me to take them home with me - All of which sparked an idea. Why not use my powers for good and give the people of America a shot at a new northern beginning.

 I posted fliers around the city of San Francisco with links to a webpage, there everyone who is dreaming of a better life in the great white north would have a fair chance to marry a Canadian. The results may surprise you. 

As I checked back to the postings each day more slips where taken, more traffic to the website, and yet the inbox remained empty.

If there is something to be learned about this experiment, no matter how many jokes are made, immigration sites crash, or green card marriage proposals are made... at the end of the day we are all proud to call this nation home. 

So keep your chins up America, Canada loves you.
